 About Us

Growing up I lived for coon hunting, it always came before anything else, girls, school, etc. I raised dogs of all breeds and colors. I would go to the trade lot on sat mornings to sell a few dogs and I would come back with 8 more than I went with. It drove my momma crazy, just as it still does my wife today. I had a friend who had an old timey bluetick his name was “rebel” he was a great companion and tree dog. I loved his huge size, his cold nose and his loud bawl mouth, and those big long floppy ears. Nothing could stop him. I spent years trying to find one and finally I came across a man in Pennsylvania, John Roberts and that’s where I got my first two big dogs, Sarge and Jack (the boys). From there I joined the ABGHA and met the few people that own these dogs in the US and I was proud to be one of them. These dogs are one-of-a-kind and you need to understand the breed before owning one the're not your standard bluetick hound. They are much greater that that. It is a challenge raising these dogs, the mother’s size plays a big factor in getting pups, it makes it a challenge for her to feed and care for them. Making them very hard to find. Stayin' True Big and Blue!

                                                                        Thanks,
